I'll wait for dyno results before I really start slamming the uel Idea.. but I expect no improvement or very little improvement in anything but noise. We shall see.

EL producing healthy mid/top gains was the main reason I wanted to ditch the uel on my WRX.

Soon for install pics and videos for sound clips, like you have all become accustomed to.

February for dyno testing, unfortunately.

Sorry, no catted versions expected to come from Borla

To everyone else, we will try to accommodate other setups for testing, but we can't promise anything

Well I'm glad you guys will be testing it with the q300 and a test-pipe as that's what I'll have (AP over/test pipe), so I'll probably know what my car will sound like before I get my header (which I'll address below).

However I will openly express that I think it's retarded they sent you guys a header but won't fulfill the customer requests til damn near Valentine's day
I know this isn't FT86SF's fault (at all), but I'm just not thrilled with Borla at the moment. Sounds like they led you to believe you'd be getting ALL the customer orders on 1/21 and they just sent you 1. Left ya holding the bag kinda

Totally understand. We have expressed this to Borla as well. They keep pushing the date. Our understanding here is that they did a small run from the main R&D center which shipped on the 21st. They then sent the production of the headers to the Tennessee facility for the remaining which is later. We had two others ship that were ordered right around when these released at SEMA, so they are trickling out. An unfortunate side effect of new parts for a new car.

These headers are actually coated at that price? I'm still looking for what header I want to add in my system, but I may wait and see what JDL's UEL design looks like. Borla sure has it nailed in the price range though. Not bad if it performs as well as they claim.

Look forward to your sound clips and dyno test Jeremy!

...And to think, I want a C7 after this... another all-new car with an all new motor. I'm gonna end up always waiting for stuff

Yes I will be getting one to go with my SRT headerback. I'm sure it will be pretty loud but will sound badass!!!
