We didn't get turbo Impreza's until the 2002 model year (aka gen 2)

There was a small group of us dedicated to NA Imprezas and a few tuning companies making parts. Borla made headers for the NA cars, COBB made an intake and cams and such, KYB made their AGX struts, and a few other parts here and there.

What it surely is, is the modern day equivalent of the BMW E30 M3, a legend. Just look at the weight and power figures and the general ideas about what it's like to drive this type of car.
I wasn't talking about theoretical comparisons, im talking about a literal actual relationship between the two cars.

The front suspension of a twin actually shares a couple parts like the tophats and the rear suspension is almost completely taken from a current model impreza. The front control arms are similar to Legacy control arms that were first used in 2004 but reversed.

But yes most 90's cars used 15 and 16 inch wheels even the high performance models. The twins share more technology wise with that age of cars than with the modern high-horsepower, high-grip performance cars on the market.

Yeah, me too.
This, in my eyes, is the classic rally style. And I love it.

These probably can't be much worse off than the XXR wheels people like to run. 16X8, 5X100. ET +38, let the 245 wide tires commence....lol

I have a set of the yokohamas to put back on after the RE002's are done. My wheel and tyre will be 14.0 kg then!

If you want to go from the stock 17s on the BRZ here in the U.S. to 16s, what size would not throw off the speedometer?

225/50/16 is also almost identical to the stock diameter.

That's a nice weight, careful with the drop in grip. How many km's are getting with RE002's ...they wear fast when pushed.

Anybody else notice, and why are, Panasport/Watanabe style wheels so impossible and hard to find in 5x100?? (16” would be prefect, or even 17”).

Has anybody found any yet in 5x100? (besides the super expensive ones from Watanabe)

Any leads?

What about Panasport, Superlite, Minilite or even XXR 537 or Rota RKR ….do any of them make it in a 5x100??

Here are my leads so far in the never ended quest to find this magical unicorn (ie: 5x100 Panasport/Watanabe style wheels)

http://forums.generationdub.com/showthread.php?t=21587 (proof they can be made in 5x100)
http://www.spruellmotorsport.com/16x...el-p-2244.html (read these guys can get any size and they’ve been working with Panasport for decades)
http://www.ajps.com.au/parts/performance_wheels.php (source for Superlites)
http://www.acmespeedshop.com/wheels.html (source for Superlites iirc; might be Minilite, idk)

.
