I don't know... I think this would only look right if the rest of the plastic surround was also replaced with CF. Just my $0.02.

I do not like the CF one. I hate how far out it sticks and just looks out of place. We do not drive 70k+ sports cars. I find CF to look out of place on the BRZ

The Borla piece is up on their web site now, it's something like $416 direct...which probably means something like $385 or so from Amazon, et al. I think that's how the 1-series M and TTRS versions price out.

Understandable. But some OEM Subaru parts seem so reasonably priced while others seem to be astronomical. Oh well, I have other mods to do before worrying about the diffuser.

it's what the market will bear! companies conduct marketing studies
and they attempt to sell at the highest price,IF they believe the money is there!

I definitely regret not at least trying to get the dealer to throw it in at a lower price...

Blah. When I ordered my BRZ the diffuser was $800. When I picked it up in October the part had dropped to $695, but I still had to pay $800.

Don't get me started on paying $88 for the gas lid sticker.

I didn't even purchase an auto-dimming mirror. No clue why not because I suffer night-blindness easily and Alaska is full of bro trucks.

I fail.

However, I think it looks EXCELLENT and is worth $600 if you can find it for that price. It's too bad it looks weird with the STI rear spats.

There are some talk about the diffuser and rear spats not quite line up in the body mod threads, common for a few brands.
