Yeah I actually do that often. Leave the window down when it's in my garage so i can just reach in if i need to. It has never gone off even when i open it.

I was planning to do this when I was considering an FR-S. Now that I've ordered a BRZ, it seems like it would be too complicated to add a system like that, considering the presence of proximity door sensors and the push-to-start in the BRZ Limited.
