^ yeah i thought the same thing when i made this thread. Originally from the factory vs added afterwards really makes the difference.

Only a hand full of engines were originally supercharged from Toyota..the rest were added after the engine was already built.

I can only think of the 4AGZE myself. There might have been a 1GGZE but I'm not 100% sure (old 2.0L L6, probably longest service Toyota engine in modern times).

I believe these are the only factory supercharged Toyota engines, that I can recall.

4A-GZE
1G-GZE
2TZ-FZE

I think that's a mostly unofficial name owners gave the engine. As far as I know (I just checked the Aurion parts catalog for Australia), it was still a 2GR-FE, and the customizations were done by TRD Australia after the vehicle left the factory.

I did some searching and found a few VIN's for the TRD Aurion's in Australia, 6T153KK400X320823 came up a couple of times as a TRD Aurion 3500SL for sale, and I ran it through the EPC and it does come up as a 2GR-FE. It seems the vehicles still had the TRD S/C added afterward. The engine was not designated 2GR-FZE.
