I'll get $1000 off mine for either the new graduate rebate northern military discount. I'm also betting this car will be in the 21-22k range since the new tc starts at 20k with180hp and a six speed.

I too was looking at the redesigned 2013 Gen coupe (2.0T with 270hp 270 ft/lb torque WOW) if this FRS is too expensive. To add to that, the TC here is 8% more than in the US but on the Canadian forums I read that our Scion does come with a few more features standard. Thank god we don't seem to be getting the shaft by Scion Canada. I figure, since the base price for a BRZ is 24000 USD, the base price for an FRS wil be 21000 USD which translates to roughly 22500 CAD That would be pretty schwwweeeet.

There was one guy who was extremely good at selling cars despite never wearing deodorant, dude could pump out 10-15 Jettas a month in a dealership that struggled to get the rest of the sales people to sell 5 of anything in that same time. Turns out he was getting $10k under the table every month he did this, and the dealer itself was getting a bonus much larger than that for that exact same reason, they had more product out on the street and could use the sales numbers to pump up the ads. The scary part is that the sales department in almost every dealership regardless of make, is the sinking ship. Sales is almost always kept afloat by Service, who rely on Sales to get the volume of cars out to keep the repair money coming in strong. Anyway....yeah, from what I understand about Scion-only dealers, the "Fair market pricing" means that they will never inflate the price of a car with false charges or "rarity" charges like everywhere else does. It doesn't mean you can't haggle the price, it just means they're not going to take a $21k MSRP car and try and sell it to you for $29k because there are only two of them on the lot. |

Note to self. Do not wear deodorant if want to be successful in life.
