I'm actively working on getting my ass up to Dallas, so it's a strong possibility.

Indeed! That would be pretty tight! Maybe we should do what I said before and meet up somewhere and travel from dealer to dealer and pick up our cars, and by the end we will have a legion of BRZs/FRSs to travel around with...

BUMP. I wanna see how useless these rear seats are. I had an issue with foot room at the dealer in the FRS. Leg room was tight, but my feet felt squished under the driver's seat. I have heard the driver's seat is height adjustable.

Personally I don't like having people in the rear seat of any of my cars. Car people respect your car, while others don't. But we all know car people would always rather take their own car then ride in the back of another car.

Just trying to cover my bases. I don't want to get a car that I will regret.
My first car was an RSX (which actually fit people more comfortably than the FRS) and I hardly drove anyone around. You're 22, so live it up!! As I understand it, the FRS was made to be a DRIVER'S car, not a passenger's car. Well... maybe just 1 passenger.

I'm more concerned with getting my kids in the back. They are 5 and 1 and still use car seats.

They are quite useful if you don't want to drive your co-workers to lunch. None of the folks I work with want me to drive because they don't want to sit back there...I wouldn't either.

I have friends with Mustang GT, Scion tC, E46 3 series, and Civic Si, and have ridden in the back seat of all of them. They were all very cramped and I bumped my head on the rear glass. The Mustang especially was incredibly uncomfortable, 3 series was by far the nicest but still not something I'd want to spend a lot of time in. I also sat in the back seat of a GC at an auto show and had my friend sit in front and there was no way I could have ridden in it like that. Why would the ft86, which is smaller than all of them, be any different? After those experiences I would never want anyone I considered a friend to ride in the back seat of this car, unless it was a very short trip. I don't think there is a coupe on the planet that will fit 4 6-footers comfortably.
I think the 2 door eldorados from the 70's were perfect coups for 4 adults in a car and 4 in the body bags plus room for a house full of stuff. lol

You sir are partially incorrect. When filming tokyo drift they actually had tanner foust and two other drivers teach the cast (including this girl) how to drift.

...so i restate my previous statement.

Still no pics, or review? I'm picking this car over the 370Z just because of the back seats. I figure I could fit back there for a bit, but would like to know if there are adjustments that can be made to give more foot room. If kids can't even sit in the back without issues, than it is pretty pointless.

My five year old sits in the back fine. Back seats have those isofix thingies too.

My seven year old sits in back easily but without booster seat as with no headrests in back and seatbelt quite low on the shoulder it looks a lot safer than the booster putting his head above the back seat height. He's 134cm.

To make more room in back front seat occupants need to put their seats forward and can then recline them back.

Passenger front seat slides forward automatically to access back seats when released but drivers side tilts forward and then needs to be put forward so much easier to have baby seat on passenger side. However for legroom better to have toddler on passenger side and baby behind driver. Try both out but you'll find what works best.

Also worth noting that my toddlers car seat if used in the front (I know not as safe) doesn't fit between the side bolsters of the seat so sits further forward.

Definitely less back seat legroom than my Nissan 200SX S15.

I'll try and put up a photo of kids in the back later for you.
