I have a small back seat in my coupe now, but I built a platform like bench and I fit my Great Dane back there. Gonna be challenge but he will be riding in the back of my BRZ too. Might just take the back seats out. I wish that arm rest/whatever it is wasn't in the middle.

I believe that piece in the middle is part of where the driveshaft is going through to the rear diff.

I don't have to worry, I have plenty of room in my car now for my friends to ride with me, the Focus has a very nice spacious back seat for as small as the car is, but my friends will never ride with me because it's so small. Yet, on New Year's Eve we crammed 4 of our asses into another friend's Cobalt. That thing was a pain in the ass. Stupid Chevy...

You going to fit one of these in the back? Good luck.

Wouldn't it be safer for you and your dog if you used a SUV or wagon instead?

The seats dip in more than it looks, if you notice it. So it wont be as bad as most of you guys think. I only know this because im 6' and I was comfortable in the back seat of the Fr-s.

Much less a Great Dane. But maybe he is a puppy. I would just hate to get dog hair + smell all over my new sports car. I would rather have a SUV/wagon and out them in the back on top of a cargo tray.

What do you expect from a car with almost the same dimensions as a Porsche Cayman. Folks from Top Gear knew better and all the put in the Porsche back seats were 2 sexy super models.

I sat Criss Cross in the back of a Supra from Dallas to Houston. If you gotta make it happen, you can make it happen.

My gentlemans sausage still works, so it couldn't have been that bad... It was a while back though... 2004 perhaps...
