Race car, eh? What series and what class. Rules often dictate what can and can't be done.

Should be a good start for a track car from what I have seen.
Damn those arms are nice. I never heard of them, thanks for posting this.

You might be interested in our upcoming RCE Tarmac 2 coilovers. Built by KW to our specs, they're more of a "clubsport" set-up than standard V3s.

We've been testing them with the Whiteline 20mm front and 16mm rear solid swaybars with excellent results on street tires.

Precisely why I keep asking what your budget is.

You say you're in the 818?

What's been done to your Z, and what lap times do you run at our local tracks?

What is your goal in terms of lap times?

Also, please try to answer EVERY question I previously asked. The more information you provide me, the better recommendations I can give you. Our shop car currently holds all the local NA/street tire records, with a VERY simple setup.

Rims, RS3, Suspension, axleback. Nothing else; no intake, no arms, no bushings, no sways, no gutting, nothing. As we've both stated, it's about quality, not price, and you gotta pay to play.

Mike will definitely steer you in the right direction, no need buying parts you don't need it's amazing what they have done without even adding any power. I would copy their setup to start and maybe add some power via tuning and intake and exhaust. I'm not tracking mine but if I was I would definitely have them install and set it up if I was that close.

there is no budget. just time. i dont care what quality parts cost, im not gonna buy everything at once, every mod has its time frame.

my z mods: no motor mods, coils/sways/arms, rims/rs3's, bucket/5point, oem brembos but track rotors/pads/lines. i had simple mods. i ran all willow spring tracks. my home is streets of willow though. i was in the 1:26's at streets (both directions).

your knowledge is more then welcome. and if i miss a question im not avoiding it. lol

thank you guys for your help!!!

No budget? Save, and buy a faster car. Seriously.

I'd love to have an unlimited budget.... a 458 challenge would be nice.

RCE, Matt Andrews and CSGMike seem to have nailed the basic formula for you - wider wheels, better rubber, high end coilovers, BBK and geometry correction/camber plates.

Beyond that I suggest you do a search for what Robispec is up to as far as geometrically correct front control arms etc.

Oh, and the weight savings part could be interesting too given that it's gonna be a track only machine. Stripped out, lightweight battery & exhaust, etc.
