I am going to try this on my non-FT86. Anybody got leftover foam? I don't feel like ordering an entire roll when all I need is a little bit. Hook me up with foam and I will hook you up with a t-shirt discount.

I have most of a roll left. Let me know how much you need.

2-3 days once I send them out. I'm currently on vacation out of state, so they'll go out first thing Tuesday morning. Sorry for the delay, I'll throw in a tube of 3M Automotive Weatherstripping Adhesive for your troubles.

My driver side tail has lots of water, the right gets it sometimes.

I did the thicker gaskets, even did the adhesive all around the DIY said.

I'll check the sealing again, but it was perfect when i put it in...

Ha, forgot about this topic.

Even after a second sealing, i had condensation again.

I went to the dealership and they replaced the taillights again, instead of just replacing the taillights they used a new type of gasket too. No problems so far...

This was about two months ago, yet again if they occur i'll give an update...

Thanks for the feedback! Through my experience so far I venture to say there was something else wrong with your previous set of tails, whether it be a hairline fracture in the housing, or the housing post-holes in the body panel might be bent (common issue).

I hope Scion/Subaru have pulled their heads out of their asses and are now providing a good enough gasket, but I have my doubts.

If you do find that your new tails get condensation again, let me know and I'll send you another set of gaskets.

You can get both straight from me if you'd like. I took the initiative to get the better gaskets manufactured.

If you want to DIY, you can get the adhesive at most auto parts stores (I get mine at Advance Auto Parts) and you can order a roll of the foam, but you have to cut it yourself.

PM me for details either way.

I was thinking of buying from you, but I wanted to see if its cheaper if I do it myself. Since I live in Canada, it'll be $40.
