ahh your right, the Open N/A Record is held by this ASM s2k @ 57.

This Street N/A Record is held by this ASM s2k @ 59.

I don't think it would be in the same league as the 400R since its using track only parts that would be illegal for the streets, like being catless.
Yeah your right, its a bit off, the point i was trying to make was that the griffon could be considered a "manufactures car" (without the slicks and lexan windows) and be treated as one on the leaderboard like Nismo, RallyArt, STI rather than the teams on revspeed time attack. I mean this car below is without cats, and hardly street legal, but still manages to be on the top of the "manufactures" leaderboard.

I love the Igetas because of their throwbackness. I can see how people who don't understand would think they're kinda lame. I wish they had some dish though...

I think the ones on the Tom's are Crystal Eye tail lights.

These are similar (probably knock-offs)

Definitely not the same. They have a very Audi-ish feel to them. Absolutely perfect.

Ha, I like the Tom's and the TRD. The modellista....meh.

Tom's is sporting a modern take of its old Igeta wheels, I do like!

TRD sporting the old school TRD race color scheme on theirs, also like!

Good stuff all around.

Just watched the Griffon run on Tsukuba...1'01"872 eh?

[ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kf4LEb5ybHg"]N2 AE86 Championship Finals - Hot Version International - YouTube[/ame]

skip to 7:50 to see his qualify run. 1'00"757. Now I realize the TRD N2 AE86 is basically the maximum border of a 16v tuned AE86, and the new TRD 86's engine was mainly left untouched, but still...TRD on the new 86 needs to step up its game! I wanna see a full on TRD race 86, nothing held back.

Also, since Tom's ran a new take on the Igeta wheels, it would've been awesome if TRD decided to throw on a set of Tosco's!

What do you think the 0-62 will be in the TRD now that it lost almost 500 pounds of weight? I love the TRD version and on the video that exhaust sounds fantastic.
