TRD must make that front end or someone else should. My favorite.

All of them boasting similar weight and more power than the GT86 Griffon. Like the Supernow FC managed 57sec using 500hp/2300lbs on a full track build for Tsukuba.

Im just saying even with 2200lbs-2300lbs the GT86 is still using stock engine stock ECU, with nearly nothing touched other than headers and exhaust. Im VERY impressed seeing as how the record Open N/A is held by ASM s2000 300hp/2127lbs @ 59.9 I.. I truly believe that the GT86 or BRZ could be the next record holder for the Tsukuba N/A in the very near future.
The ASM S2000 is actually faster then 59.9. Iirc it made it into the 57s on semi-slicks. I have a feeling it's record has been broken.

If anything, i think slicks could have been too much grip for 9.5 wide wheel on stock power.
I don't think it would be in the same league as the 400R since its using track only parts that would be illegal for the streets, like being catless.

I'm not saying its slow or worthless. I can't think of any other "tuner" car with only 200hp that lapped that fast. I noticed the video said "Griffon 86 Start concept". I hope that means this is only the start of this cars development.

Why am I the only one that thinks the 2GR swap is insane? I love it! Drove an IS350 the other day, with 2 other people, so with an extra 900lbs, that engine in stock form felt like a monster, and made my FR-S seem slow... Granted, it changes a lot about the car, and no doubt no ammenities, but still. Very cool.

Man! That Tom's N086V is such a sweet Car! I don't understand why it doesn't get more love! Engine swap, Igetta wheels, CF fenders.... All it needs is the TRD Louvers and it's a great homage to the 80s. Almost makes me want a FR-S more than a BRZ...

The TOMS car would be more impressive if it was running. I guess they ran out of time before the engine loom/electronics could be sorted.

Because the engine is taller and heavier thus causing balance issues. The wheels are ugly and the arch extensions should be painted to match the body.

The original post said the TRD kits front bumper was "commercially" available. What does that mean? haha

As much as I enjoy the R35, I can't help thinking how much more fun it would be at 3,000lbs.
