Dang, that is passion. I know the feeling. Just clean up afterwards. I use turtlewax spraywax with microfiber cloth each time. Cleans and shines at the same time. Leaves no residue.

I kept watching videos and reviews while i waited 2 months for mine. About 60 miles from where i live. I also happened to be around the areA when i got the call. I left my contact info via dealership's websites. I also Put down the deposit at my local dealership, but they got one a month later. My local dealership just cannot keep it in stock.

I drove my raven frs to the local dealership to get my deposit back and peeps were oogling my car. Lolz, they did not have one in stock for buyers to look at.

I got mine within 24 hours of it coming off the transport.... Mostly because I said if I didn't take delivery the next day I'd shove my foot up my salesman's ass

I coped with my six month wait by not going on the forums and pretty much forgetting about the car until the dealer called up a month before delivery. Then I obsessed and went nuts looking at parts and all sorts of stuff. I would recommend waiting for the car before buying parts though, you don't really know what is a priority and what you really do want to have to change until you get it, or as I found, just how much you actually don't want to change!

i've a bad feeling that my car is gonna sit for longer than 3 days. >.< my dad and mom want to go with me when i pick it up (hell if i know why though) and they're going out of town this friday. so it's gonna be about a week if not longer that it sits there. though i am gonna go to the dealer and sit in it.

Hey Kyubi, I'm in the same boat as you. Even ordered around the same date. I think you're most likely waiting around 6 to 8 months. I actually asked for 2014 build and plated model because I wanted time to get my financial situation in order and see what possible updates they will have for the car. I just cope by not thinking about getting the car. Even though I read up on it every day.

I know the feeling, Stuck in Kabul until June-ish, except I am on a Gov't Computer so no videos and hardly pictures (Flickr, and all photo sharing sites are blocked). I just keep reading reviews, forums, and looking at aftermarket sites, putting together time frames and excel sheets detailing a timeline of builds, savings, paychecks depositing, you get the idea. I have a book with all my build ideas and photoshop'd pics of what i want, dyno sheets printed out, my own figures as far as all my bolt ons and other work go. I've gone quite mad out here....

i know the feeling. had the same problem when i was in KSA. internet was horrible. couldn't even get pictures to show up. it was horrible.

I was in the same boat as you but I just went one day and grabbed an frs .

Suggestions:
-Don't get a radar. It's pretty much useless unless you are on a road-trip. I have an Escort with GPS and all the fancy bells and whistles (for ~300) and honestly I feel like it's a waste of money.
- Intake or a better drop in filter will do more than an exhaust in terms of hp and response. Also if you get an aftermarket exhaust you should consider getting a stage 2 tune (ECUtek). Together it'd put you up ~20whp. I don't have a tune yet but I have yet to read anyone who regretted getting a tune.
- I heard Perrin rear shifter bushings improve the feel of the shift significantly if you are getting MT.

8 months is a lot sooner than the wait time for me...
recently bought a 2013 Lexus GS350... would love to own a FRS too but its not a smart move right now... maybe in 5 years when my car is paid off
