This is the reason why I chose to buy a Frs over a Brz. When I went to trade in my 2011 Wrx Sti, Subaru wanted 27000 for a premium with a 8 month wait and 31000 for a limited with a 10 month wait and they would only give me 28k for my modified car.... Toyota sold me the frs for 24500 and gave me a 33k trade in on my Sti. It was a logical choice in my book since I only had to drive 350 miles and bam I had my Frs that day no hassle with Subaru sales men.

-Day I bought the car.

-My 2011 STi I traded in. (Was stage 2) 328HP 358TQ at 19pounds stock VF48. I'll find a video... Was straight piped... Sounded gnarly. Nameless Performance style...

------------------------------
Also I always have people ask me how I like my Frs over all the Subarus I've owned and still own. It's simple. My Frs handles better in the dry then any of my scoobs. In the wet no. I don't plan on taking my Frs in snow so I can't compare that. Straight line speed it's faster then my n/a Subarus but not my boosted cars. Funner to drive? Yes this is the funnest car I have ever owned and don't plan on getting rid of it anytime soon!

Ahaha indeed it is an interesting match. Thx for the kudo's. By the end of the month the car should be looking way better.... then she gets a bath and the photo's commence. Then the big save for the twinscrew + cage commences. Also forgot to mention in March she goes to Radium Engineering to get some sponsored goodies from them. You guys will have to stay tuned for that. :happy0180: I shall go check out your journal I've been slacking on the forum do to excessive hours at work. But now that i'm back to a regular swing shift schedule I have lots of free time for the FRS world!!

I need to get a part time job after hours so I can catch up with your modding extravaganza. Finding a part time thing is harder than a normal time job though. I keep going back and forth between doing the supercharger next or suspension craziness. more power vs more handling.

I could of super charge or turbod the car with what I've spent so far.... But I'd rather have a reliable well handling car that stops before just slapping more hp on the car. Also could of turbod the car but I chose to pay off my debt. Sometimes things come first sadly..... I've been trying to find a sat job n work 5 days a week but no one will do that. =\ I feel ya. Can't wait to start seeing your car come together though. It's crazy to watch cars transform.

*Update* Picked up DBA T3 front rotors, Stop Tech rear rotors, and some Hawk HPS (high performance street) front + rear pads from Nameless Performance today.... Love visiting the shop..... Pictures will come sat. 100% installing the Perrin light weight crank pulley, Perrin drop in filter, new rotors + pads, and doing the rear seat delete on Saturday. Going to be a good day for the FRS. Braided brake lines + fluid will come when nameless starts carrying it. Also paid for my over pipe + down pipe today. You will have to wait and see what it looks like when they finish the custom header exit back. Uel headers will come later with boost. Stay tuned.
