Track pad setup recommendations

Properly bedded in track pads don't really make much sound.

OEM brake discs are pretty good. Remember this brake system was adopted from the WRX which is much heavier with much more power.

It would be a pain to swap both the pads and rotors after every event. I'd probably screw up one of bolts that mounts the caliper one of those times and then regret it. I haven't found aftermarker rotors to be a huge improvement over stock, when compared to dedicated track pads. I like to wear out my OEM rotors before moving onto something else. In terms of bedding/deposits, I usually throw on the track pads one week before the event to allow the cold track pads to shave off the deposits from the street pads so I have a nice clean rotor to bed in once I get to the track.

I was speaking solely about swapping in another set of OEM blanks with the track pads. Again, this was for best performance, not for ease.
