TIC has a thread where they are taking preorders for Koni packages (with RCE springs *cough*) in the vendor area. They did testing for Koni and part of that included running them with our springs.

AZP is another good shop that will have them available.

Yup, we are a RCE dealer so we can get and install any of the RCE items when they come out. Love their yellow and black springs!

Nice. Do you use Subaru OEM housings for option 1?

They would be KYB housings which are the same as OEM since KYB is the OEM.

We may bring the price down a bit if we can find new housings w/o having to buy the whole strut and then gut it.

I've been hearing about these RCE black springs for the BRZ. Care to shed some light on that?

Real quick...for Impreza we have Yellow and Black springs. The Black springs are a very mild (5mm for STI) drop, while the Yellows are a little more.

For BRZ/FRS we only have RCE Yellows at the moment and no immediate plans for Blacks.

I was under the impression that the BRZ dampers are Showa units; do they license the housing from KYB?

While we're already off topic, are there plans for even more aggressive springs.

The blacks are less aggressive, but I figured I would ask to see if there are future plans for other types of springs.

Nothing certain yet but we have considered making a stiffer springs designed only for use on Konis or possible future custom Bilstein sports. But we're not there yet. We probably wouldn't go with much more a drop (maybe a tiny bit), just firmer rates.

EDIT: Back on topic.....

I can't wait for mine to come in, ordered last night for RTR class.

It's nice to know they were tested with RCE springs so if I do make the STX move for 2014, I can just pick up RCE springs. Hopefully by end of the year, if stiffer springs are coming, they will be out
