Guarantee you it's fine. Anyone that has to drive on a military base hits a decent speed bump at least twice a day. Keep in mind that every car is designed to be able to take some amount of punishment. Unless you spent over 100k on your car or modified the suspension, then it should be able to handle a few bumps in the road

I notice this all the time especially on the days when i drive home and like to give it a little more throttle through the open roads

It probably has happened before and you didn't notice it because your attention wasn't there. Now, since you're concerned, your buggin like sherlock.

The sound is normal and extra noticeable on the fr-s.

My ae86 makes the same noises after a long drive, sounds like a popcorn machine. Nothing to worry about.

The noises are nothing. However, I would probably try to get the suspension, steering, and wheel assembly checked out.

I did a similar thing in a Stealth R/T Twin Turbo and it seemed fine -- until the brake seized up on that side and we found out the wheel / brake / suspension apparatus had been catastrophically damaged. Oh and it was very dangerous when it happened. The brake was literally red hot when I finally got the car stopped mainly using engine braking and e-brake. Be cautious.

@Zach is having this same problem, I think. He stopped by the other day with a strange creaking noise from his front right area... we swapped the strut to see if that was the problem, but it wasn't. Seemed like it might be the steering rack. He was going to take it to the dealer next. Maybe we'll get an answer from him soon.
