so much rubbing in the front. couldnt turn my wheels at all with the 18x9.5s up there so i put my stocks on, and still rubbing in the back of the liner (right under the tip of the fender vent) anyone have suggestions?

are you all running liners still or are they removed?

also, after a quick drive around the block im noticing some knocking in the rear. does anyone have any ideas? Im going to make sure everything is tight again... but idk. a friend mentioned it could be the preload? i dropped it as low as possible without being able to move the spring up and down... could that still be my issue?

im on BC extreme lows btw...

grind the tabs in the rear and remove your fender liners. you should also try adding camber from the top of the strut tower for some extra clearance. it looks like your running some meaty tires also

Looks really good! I get the same knocking noise on small little bumps on the road or when going slowly. I've heard its endlinks touching frame or something. Or preload but I want to find out too. The front kind of does it but barely. The rears tho, asdjsakjdhadsflahsdk

I think its the endlinks, I removed my rear sway bar and I'm pretty sure the clunking is gone...

Would shorter end links fix the problem? Just curious because I have wheels and coilovers on the way. I could order up some rod ends to make my own end links to prevent them from hitting. I'd rather not remove my rear sway though, it'll make the car push hard and I still drive somewhat spirited.

Why'd you remove your rear swaybar?

Ever just thought about lowering the car to a respectable ride height?

What tabs? and removing the liners is pretty much the conclusion ive come to. haha. how dirty does your engine bay get now? Do you think maybe itd be possible to somewhat cover up the spaces that open up into the bay?

I added a little more camber up front but I can move the allen screw over one more space and max it out if i need to. I put the stocks on just so I could get it on the road and drive it around the block.

tires are meaty, right now. im running 245/40s from when i was only on s techs. I will be getting 225/40s soon and running spacers in the rear. (i have no rubbing issues in the rear right now btw. but thank you! i appreciate the help! and sorry for all the questions

19x10 +50 rear and 19x8.5 +45 front Vossen CVT. Not aggressively lowered by any means, it is my DD. Eibach sportline springs installed yesterday. So far no rubbing issues.

I'm on BC and i maxed out the front with 18x9.5 +35 up front. I'm "functional" with 255 so I'm not balls on the ground but theres tire tuck. No rubbing issue and my liner is full intact. But spacers in the rear with 225 is a good idea. otherwise it looks really weird lol.

Fancy, you shouldn't need to remove your fender liners. I'm running 18x9.5+30 with 215/35s and have no problems with clearance. Swapping to the 225s will help you tons.

Im on the stocks right now and my fender liner is sitting on my tire and also hitting in the back... i cant imagine that 18x9.5s with 225s on them will clear if the stocks dont?
