Agreed and I can live with that. However, the job that they did was not everywhere the same. On some part of the Window the dot matrix was visible (Thats ok with me if it is like that all around) and on some it was not.
I'm used to the dot matrix not being tinted on my previous cars, however seeing the dot matrix line for 3cm, than 2 cm not seeing it, and onther 1 cm seeing only half of the dot matrix, next 4-5 cm seeing the full dot matrix again etc just looks shit in my opinion :-)

It was air, no water in it. Also, I asked specifically the tint guy about if it needs another 2-3 weeks to dry out, and his answer was no, that just what it will be - and we think is fine like that.

OK yeah that's messed up then, assuming the car had plenty of time to sit in the sun so that all the liquid was dried. It should be a uniform break all the way around. If any part of it adhered at all, then they should've been able to make it adhere all the way around. Normally, it looks good upon application, but once the sun does its thing, you see the border.

Not acceptable. Air should not be between the glass and film.

That's not what you paid for...I'd make them do it again.

We had a window start to peel at the edge a year after it was done in our Lancer...went in and the guy says, you have 45 minutes? I'll do it again right now...and that was a year later. Unfortauntely he's in the Dominican for 6 months so I have to wait on my tints

Anyone have issues with the driver/passenger window's tint since the windows go down/up when the door is opened? About to get my windows tinted and it seems that the main issue is the back window and the third brake light.

No issues - they'll hit it with a heat gun while it's still in the shop to make sure it has a good seal, then just don't roll down your window for 3-5 days after that and you're fine. The auto-down when door opens won't be a problem during that time.

Also, there's no need to remove the third brake light when tint is being applied. With the proper squeegee tool, your tint guy should be able to get it in there without removing anything.
