Forgot to answer your 2nd question.

Just leave it. Either its big enough that the fix would be just as noticeable or its small enough that you will just get many more like it since it is the front bumper and will constantly be fixing knicks

I use Amsoil in my cars. I have everything dropped shipped from the warehouse. Lol

Well, I guess I'll be DD'ing the FR-S for a while. The Yaris ended up getting a screw (I know it'll get denied for repair as the tire was manufactured in 2008). 1 psi per hour loss, and enough to cause bubbling when spraying over the screw with soapy water. I'll wait for another America's Tire sales event, and I gotta find a vendor for 949Racing 6UL wheels. It was either those or RPF1's, but everyone has RPF1's. lol.

CSG sells 6ULs. And GT Radial UHP1 are stupid cheap clearance right now if any of the bay area dealers have them

Edit: nevermind. Forgot this was for the Yaris. No small sizes in UHP1s iirc. Tried finding them for the spyder a while back

LOL!

Thanks for the tip. I'll order from them soon. I like to order my tires from America's Tires since I've had good experience with them over the years. I'll wait until they have a sale again (just missed their President's Day sale) and most likely end up with 195/55/15 Michelin Premier A/S on 15x7, ET36 6UL. I did want 15x8, but I'm not sure if 195's would be too narrow for them, and they weigh 1 lbs more than the 15x7 (every lb matters on the Yaris, lol). I just can't decide on charcoal or tungsten (remember, blazing blue Yaris). I like the tungsten color, but it's too much like the WedsSport TC105N I have for the FR-S.

The steelies are 15x5.5, ET45, so I'm worried that 15x8, ET36 would cause inner and outer clearance issues, 41mm more outward (for that hellaflush look, lol), and 23mm less inner clearance. That Yaris isn't on coilovers, just lowering springs, so it may not clear the front strut. And I really don't want to mess with the fender liner and rear fender lip like I did with the last Yaris.

The GT radials are from Americas Tire. The guys in sac have been getting full sets for the FRS for under $300 in stock size iirc. Wider sets for under $400.

hmmm, GT AltiMAX RT43 in the same class (GT all season) as the Michelin Premier A/S, but doesn't get as good ratings on Tire Rack. Would have to be a big price difference for me to get them. I'm not necessarily looking for gobs of grip, but something that's comfortable over crap roads like hwy 37, and gets good mpg (the GT edges out the Michelin here). I guess I'll see which of these tires gets put on the next sales event. Both come in 195/55/15, so that's a good thing (I ruled out the Pirelli Cinturato P7 All Season Plus because of this).

Heard back from K&N customer service and they have no news on a 2017 MY replacement drop-in air filter. They said to check back in 6 or so months. Oh well.

That sucks. Anyone currently making a reusable drop in for the 2017?

Supposedly Blitz is making one - part #59624 - doesn't look like any retailers have got it in stock yet though.

I'd rather stay with America's Tire tho.
