I've never heard about major issues with the Forester XT. The NA engines run a long time but burn oil. That's about it. Oh, and bluetooth will be flaky.

Most STIs and WRXs are beat upon, modded, and so on. A Forester XT is a different story altogether.

My BFF bought a 2008 STi, Ringland failure after 108 miles of driving (literally he drove it home from the dealer and work twice.)

He now has a 2014 STi, Ringland TWICE in 8K miles.

I suggest not buying an STI. But a Forester XT = still good.

Just spent a little over 3 hours detailing my car and still didn't get to everything I wanted to. Exhausted!

Since a regular wash for me already takes at least 1.5 hours, I've learned that if I want to fully detail my car, I'll do it in parts; i.e. wash and then detail the front half, and then the next time I wash, detail the other half.

You are brave to detail the car when it's supposed to rain Wednesday.

Just be glad you don't own a black car.

I just plugged it from the cabin. Lol

I went back to the OEM box with a drop in, so I don't have a "delete kit."

I can't help you, but good to hear that you're going to try to keep the BRZ. Does the Chevy SS fit the ticket as a larger beater/commuter?

Not unless I find one for around $10k

Gonna be checking out this one this weekend: http://sfbay.craigslist.org/pen/cto/5913158501.html

A bit overpriced, so I'm hoping to talk em down, but would be cool to own another bastard twin
