I'll take the tickets if nobody else needs them. I want to take the kids, seeing as my wife and I married there.

Yeah, we did about 12 years ago. The ceremony was on the landing halfway up, hors d'oeuvres in the main hall while people, without food or drink, wandered among the cars. Then The cars are art that you can view while dining/dancing. Scott's Seafood has their own kitchen there. All the tables, silverware, and so on are supplied. You supply the DJ, band, photographer, and money. They even have a host who works with the different people to make sure everything flows. For about five years, people told us how awesome are wedding was.

At least, that's how it was back then. I imagine it's similar or the same now.

I just told my fiancée about this and was swiftly shot down. 😔

She doesn't have the same automotive passion as I do.

Take her there. Show it to her. It's a great location. At the time, it was relatively cheap, too.

My wife is no car fan.

Sooooooooo... Problem is, I'm working every Friday night! Maybe I can arrange another Palomares drive? Now that the road is blocked, there's a lot less traffic.

Wait, I thought the road is blocked so that you can't go through... would you just have to stop and turn around at some point? LOL

Awesome stuff. I remember being a part of my friend's wedding at Blackhawk Auto Museum about 14 years ago... it really is a great venue. They also host lunch and dinners too for corporate or private events. My wife is not a car person at all but really enjoyed the events at the Blackhawk.

I went down there today, for the first time. They actually block the road pretty early, well before the construction. A bit annoying. Not much to go on.

And BHAM is a great place to marry. For sure.

I liked this:

Of course for us, you could replace "walk" with "drive" and it would also be true.
