But there is a guy in socal that makes cuatom short shifters for this car that are night and day. Was amazing in the 10 minutes I test drove. They are $$$ but would definitely get it if I had an MT

Im sure shifter bushings and springs as well as clutch adjustments would help for small cost but don't have any experiance with it really.

The '15 STi shifter feels better (kinda like an FR-S with a short shifter), but the clutch is too firm to be easy in DD. I forget what year WRX it was, but it felt similar to the FR-S, but I didn't like the shifter as much (could be just the car was beat to hell, which I'm sure it was). I've never tried a BWM before, so can't comment on that.

I haven't rode in the new cars yet but pretty safe to say I'd take the FRS over BART in terms of comfort. Unless you get a subway sleeping bag on a cold morning

That's the difference. I much prefer the heavier clutch on the STi. Commuted 150 miles a day for 2 years on it in bay area traffic and it was fine for me. But I can see your point.

It all makes sense now. hahaha. I pretty much only drove medium firmness clutches (NA Miata, GTI, Yaris). So that's what I ended up preferring. I also don't like clutches that grab near the high point, prefer closer to the bottom.

Yeah. A bunch of extra travel sucks. Worst clutch I ever drove was a new VW Rabbit my aunt wanted. I stalled like 6 times on the test drive

Anyone ever forget about a meeting and have no way to find out?

I have an advisory board that meets bi-monthly and just found a note with a name, date, and time saying 30 minute Q&A. But it's only a first name with no number, email, or even department. Don't remember this at all

And it seems important enough that I should have told my boss
