Here's something I didn't expect. After flashing to the stage 1 oft rom, my exhaust (Berk track pipe) became quieter, and not as much drone as before at 2k rpm. Anyone else experience this?

I have the same setup. I haven't really noticed any change in exhaust sound based on tune. There is a difference in the intake valve/engine noises at around 3.5-4.5k which many have noted and debated to no end on this forum.

I've always been curious about this noise too, but just assumed it was the intake manifold @PMok can you link me to one of the threads on this topic. I can't seem to find a good one. TIA!

Exhaust porn for Tuesday.

APEXi N1 Evolution Extreme $1,377.50 Matching Rear Diffuser $261.25
Looks like the Invidia N1 but with some resonators. But check out that custom rear diffuser plate!

APEXi N1 Evo-R $989 from APEXi direct.
APEXi's take on the dual canister design. Sounds pretty sweet! Love how this style exhaust looks from behind.

Fair enough. That's probably why my BF will never get RPf1s.

I just tried out my OBD2 bluetooth scanner on my car, it works! for $13 shipped from China, thats way more than I expected. Meanwhile the phone bluetooth'd to the radio. So my phone was telling me RPM while my car alerted me to a text message.
