Anyone own a pocket-size portable jump starter? I'm looking to get one, and I'm not sure which one to get. I've read some mixed reviews for each one. Just wanted some insight from someone who owns one.

I have both the antigravity and the powerall (for the wife's car). Haven't had to use the powerall, but would definitely recommend the antigravity, it has saved our bacon more than once (dead battery while camping, nearest town is 2 hrs away)

Are there different models? If so, which one did you get? How long have you had it?

Have had this antigravity "kit" for about 3 years. Did 4 jump starts on my tacoma and still had 40% charge left(while stranded out camping). That was 2 years ago, have not had to use it since, but I still make sure its charged at least once a month (still holds charge pretty well, usually at ~75% before recharging).

Got the wife this powerall for xmas last year. Only used it to charge our phones a couple times while camping, worked just fine.

Hope this helps!

I've been trying out this web application called Patina (getpatina.com) which is used to consolidate all the things related to your car, kind of like a journal, kind of like a profile. You can store pics, maintenance records etc., and they have a companion mobile app (iOS, I think android is on the way). It's a pretty neat idea, and I pretty much found it out of a desire to go more paperless and keep better records, especially since I'm the first owner...

Helps, but I'm just concerned with the hit or miss reviews for each jumper pack. I just don't want to order one, have it either DOA or crap out in a couple of months.

Sorry but I gotta intervene. Not so much a horrible OFFENSIVE call but more of a greater DEFENSIVE play. Seahawks took a gamble to throw off 100 million people watching (give it to Lynch) but lost. Guarantee, if it hadn't been the awesome-est DEFENSIVE play in NFL history, I'd be down a track day right now haha

The real question is, is Brady better than Joe?

That's always a gamble, its gonna be the same for any battery type device weather it be a jumper pack or just a tiny lipstick charger. I'd say just keep your manufacturer's warranty on hand. Amazon also has a pretty good return/replacement policy (make sure its stated on the item ofcourse).

I read you can't ship it back due to the battery being considered hazardous material =(

Anyone here have a stock twin with a 91 tune with OFT? Still debating on if it's something I want to do. Pros and cons from anyone with personal experience would help. lol

Starting to get clutter in my garage....what did you all do with your stock headers and axle-back? Can the parts be recycled somewhere or better to toss them in the garbage?

Keep them. For smog time or when/if you sell it.
