I'll do you a favor, just pay for the gas and I'll drive it for you; for the next few years.

The pilot who flew this Stearman crashed and died at the show today. I took this shot yesterday. I was planning on going out there again today to take more shots but ended up staying in. Such a shame, he has been flying airshows for a while and I've seen him perform a bunch of times.

Anyone install a Scan Gauge II on their twin? If so, where did you choose to mount it?

Finally got to work this morning.

Here's the story: Went for a nice drive to Mt. Tam Saturday morning. Last few miles I noticed my left blinker would stay on when I hit my hazards for passing cyclists, but it would turn back off eventually. Car sat in the garage all Sunday. This morning, went down to unlock it... nothing. Battery was completely dead. Car was too far in the garage and I had too short of a jumper cable to jump it with the wife's car from behind. Luckily, the wife remembered about the free Subaru road side assistance. Gave them a call, lady was nice and pleasant. (Side review, A+ on Subaru road side assistance, they kept in contact with updates on dispatch and arrival time, even called me back to verify that I got the help I needed and was happy with the service) While waiting, I angrily disassembled the lower part of the driver side dash, struggled and tore up my fingers (Thanks for the easy access Subaru <sarcasm>) trying to get the crappy LED flasher relay out that came with my Tom's and ordered a new one off Amazon (Thank you Amazon Prime!). Half hour later, Towing guy saves my bacon with a portable jump starter (Hmmm, I should probably get one of those...). I had to drive to work using hand signals. Nobody knew what I was doing... One guy waved back at me while I was trying to make a right turn (I got a chuckle out of that one). End of angry rant. I hate Mondays...

I noticed that driving behind you. I was confused as to what you were doing. Thought you had a special thing setup on the stalk to turn on the hazards and just kept accidentally hitting the left blinker.

You figured it out. He just wanted to jump to hyper space in honor of Star Wars day. Haha

And you didn't say anything?! Lol, j/k, At first I thought it was just the indicator inside the dash, didn't realize the turn signals were doing too until I got out of the car.

Ya, I'll probably slap the stock back on when I get home tonight, at least until I get the new relay, but then I'd be dreading having to take that stock relay off again...
