no front noise but a little bit of creaking from body flex in the rear when going in and out of my driveway.

if it bugs you enough raise the car up and look for witness marks to see if anything is rubbing out of the ordinary. i had an old integra with worn bushings and it would creak like a motha on everything.

I wouldn't describe it as a twang because it's not a sudden noise, it's more subtle and gradual. But it sounds like it's nothing major. I guess if it starts clunking then we have problems.

So I had the car up on jack stands last night, swapping back in my stock brake pads & rotors. I was walking by and accidentally hit one of the jack stands with my foot and noticed it moved. "WTF?!" I said to myself as I bent down to check. The car was not touching one of the jack stands, and yes, they are all at the same height on a mostly level surface. (Any of you geeks out there are probably not too surprised since kinematics dictate that any planar surface can only touch at 3 points, since that is the very definition of a plane, assuming we are talking about a rigid body ofcourse). Damn the 86 chasis is rigid!
