planning on doing the same, I've got a 2 week vacation in a few weeks so figured I'd have no time to play it enough anyways.

I won't have it or time to play for a while. It's new phone time at work so my life is essentially over, but I'll add you anyway. I thought you were an Xbox guy?

It's pretty easy. Just backup the PS3 completely so it basically bricks your system, to a USB external drive. Power down. Remove the drive, put in something rad, restore the system from the backup on the USB external and BAM, you're up and running again with tons more space.

yeah i thought about doing this but not sure if it's worth the effort given my PS3 is nearly at the end of its service life. I figure I will be playing GTA5, then BF4, then it will be time to pick up a PS4. well I'm going to look around and see if I have a spare HDD I can sacrifice for this.

Damn I guess I'm the only one that doesn't have GTA5 or even thinking about getting BF4.

I'm not getting GTA5 until it's on sale at some point. EA/DICE can suck it. I play Battlefield on PC and BF3 was a slap in the face. I'm done with that series.

Bad Company 2 stats:
http://bfbcs.com/stats_pc/denkigrve
423 hours.

Battlefield 3 stats:
http://bf3stats.com/stats_pc/denkigrve
84 hours.

Bad Company 2 was the last hurrah for that series for me.

Hey, its technically only 4" (Bazooka rounds are ~8.8cm dia.) . On a side note, if any of you guys are history/military buffs or just interested in mechanical stuff, definitely check out the MVTF tank museum in Portola Valley.

zero deductible on comprehensive... check your policy first and find out what your comp policy is. And consider reducing the deductible if it's too high.
