The tires are 245/40/17, so they do have that lip of protection, which actually saved my ass earlier when I scraped a curb while parallel parking, and it just dirtied the tire sidewall. This time not so lucky, probably cause it happened at a faster speed. Or maybe the curb was higher.

I think I'm just not used to the extra width with these wheels, cause as I told you yesterday, the fronts do poke quite a bit.

Thanks.. I actually have the grimmspeed kit, I was just saving it until I had to put it on for this very reason lol.. Now I have to get the ticket signed off and maybe I'll take it off again.. It just doesn't look as nice with the plate there haha.. I would think if he ran my plate that my registration should say scion frs.. Hey probably wrote that it was a Toyota cuz I'm rebadged lol

Lol. At least it serves a temp purpose.

But Scions show up on reg (and insurance possibly) as Toyotas. I called a buddy when I got my first registration and his etc was the same. There was even a thread about it last year. I thought DMV had gotten confused for a minute even. Lol

So far O'Reilly. I heard rumblings of Walmart replacing their stock soon. I'd also check with Toys'r'us in like 2 weeks or so. I have a friend that's a major collector so he has been keeping an eye out for me.

The grimmspeed mount kinda sucks. Mine comes loose and the plate moves ALL THE TIME! I have to take it off and tighten everything back down once every few weeks.

On my ticket they wrote Toyota for the Make and "Coupe" for the model because I don't have the FR-S badge either. Maybe that's why nothing ever happened when I didn't pay the ticket? I never even got anything in the mail.

Not quite sure, but I think tickets, etc. show up come time to reregister your car.

You probably don't want to mess with the Man when it comes to unpaid tickets. If you ever get pulled over for something else it may come up on the computer. I know one friend got pulled over for speeding, and due to some unpaid parking tickets he came up with a detain/arrest warrant. Not worth risking an arrest/impound over a lousy ticket.

True story my lady works for the santa clara county traffic court if you dont pay on time you get a civil assessment $100 ticket becomes a $400 ticket and if you dont pay at all straight to collections. i had a seatbelt ticket that i "forgot" to pay and they suspended my license cost me $1k to get it back
