I swear just 2 nights ago when we learned of the mid year price increase that I saw on the Scion homepage something about the FR-S Release when I was fact checking the price increase.

I see nothing there now...and I'm certain I wasn't looking at the tC section. It said FR-S Release Series. Of course I have zero interest in a $5000 special color so I didn't investigate further and instead just checked the new price sheet.

Yes, I see the tab on the left column, but this was right in the middle of the page in the FR-S section. They must have removed the info...or I am not remembering correctly(maybe I saw into the future?).

Never saw this thread before, but some folks get mean real quick, wow. Hope the OP is excited about their car, though. The RS looks nice. I like the extra stuff on it ('cept for the lit emblems), but I'm not a silver fan.

The OP's first post doesn't make sense. No one was aware of the 10 series in December, including dealerships. So how can you put a deposit down on a car that was never released to the public until April 2013...

Everyone was assuming that there would be a release series FRS coming eventually, because every other Scion model had a release series come out shortly after it's launch.

And the Series 10 version is probably what you're thinking of, which is different from a release series.

Yeah I was thinking of the 10 series because he put 1.0 and I thought he mistakenly put the "." So what differences, if any, does the release series have vs. a non-release series? Has the release series already been debuted?
