"You have to check the level of the reservoir manually using the supplied dipstick..."

I assume that would be the dipstick behind the steering wheel......?

Holy crap, I'll consider myself lucky then.

Well, if that's how it's gonna be, then it's a two dipstick process....the dipstick behind the wheel needs to open the hood, open the windshield washer reservoir, and use the dipstick in there to read how much is left.

I've used my washer maybe 3 times since I bought the car? I was shocked at how much it covers the glass compared to my old car.

I can see why Americans have such a bad rap. My original post was not a complaint. It was merely a comment, posted in hopes that it would be helpful to some so that they won't be caught IN THE WINTER without fluid so that they can stay safe.

It had NOTHING to do with "missing features" or "i'm whining because i ran out of fluid" or "my other car squirts better than you", yet you all have to make it a pissing match out of fucking nothing.

When your nozzles stop shooting out washer fluid, add more. That's your warning.

Unexpectedly running out of washer fluid is normally not a big problem - in sunny climes. Ever run out of washer fluid in the winter when you need to de-ice the windshield, or when you need to clean off salt and grime? I have...not very fun, extremely dangerous in fact.
damn straight!
