I live in Marina they're back and running again just heard today. march24. 1st event. they raised the price to 40$ and more safety things to sign. oh and their site is down. so if you want info ill try and ask them whats up. my friend works there.

Is this for the UFO club or all Marina AutoX?

I know AAS makes everyone sign a waiver as they enter.

Sweet! It's stuff they should have already been doing anyway. It's not like I feel unsafe at UFO but I feel like other clubs have had more safety/organization.

I did notice the Marina Motorsports calendar is still blank from any SCCA or club events.

well hopefuly it doesnt get cancelled this time! but they posted it up on facebook about the events so hopefully it doesnt. been itching to try my stock frs before i drop it on coilovers and go to drifting events.

I'll be attending the March 24th event but in my civic. Hopefully the next event i'll bring out the FRS.

I'm debating whether I want to make that drive. Especially since there are a lot of events after this one, all at Oakland. That, and I've been lazy about renewing my SCCA membership. How long does it take you to get there?

50 min from North/Central San Jose. That's going 75 in the 65 zones and 60 in the 55 zones.Also I don't have a SCCA membership as of right NOW.

Come on down to Marina this Sunday for the SCCA autocross, there should be quite a few FRS/BRZ drivers there, & we will have the Edge Motorworks machine out doing battle in STX.

For those that do not have an SCCA membership & want to enter, they offer a weekend membership that you can sign up for on the spot for only $15. More details here http://www.sfr-solo.org/solo2/Result...nd02_info.html, come on down & join the fun! It's only about an hour to get there from most places in the Bay Area, & the weather looks like it will be 60's & sunny.
