Sweet, so I'm not the only one. I'm amazed at just how damn near identical these cars look. I mean, I know all along we have been hearing just front a rear facias changed, but I was assuming they would be like the mid 90's talon/eclipse, where it was fairly obvious to the average car person which was which. These will be a lot harder to tell apart.

Dont get me wrong, the GT looks great from most angles but there is a certain angle where the fenders look awful, I love it from head on and from the rear straight on, and personally I don't "HATE" the rear tail lights.

Im not into too much cosmetic like the FRS concept, only thing i liked on that concept was how its sitting with wide tires hope i can fit 255 on the production. Everything els 7,500rpm, low CoG, 2600 lbs and lower seating position all good with me. The first concept rarely makes it all in production its only show case what they have in mind for the FT86 mk1 it showed that they are thinking a short wheel base 2+2, front engine rwd chassis.

I don't think there is any car that looks great from any angle, it is too easy to take a photo of car that makes it looks weird. I've never seen a car that looked worse in person than it did in photos.

Toyota already stated that pricing will NOT be announced on wednesday. I doubt Subaru will considering that statement.

I'm hoping for pricing by NAIAS.

How can someone actually prefer the chunky front of the production model with the bloated front fenders over the original concept? I'd imagine that most people would prefer their sports cars to be sleek.

7500rpm redline is meaningless when power drops off after 6500rpm.

The good news is the valvetrain is already set up to handle high RPMs, so with tunes/cams/header/intake/exhaust you will maximize your gains because less restriction means torque curve shifts up.

FT-86 MKI is my favorite till now. But I knew it was a concept far from production. Anyway, there'll be bodykits available.

It's a shame that this engine didn't get Subaru's AVCS that's on the actual FB20, or even Toyota's VVTi since they designed the head. It might have raised costs a bit but they probably could have used it to keep the power climbing up until the fuel cut, or at least flattened the curve a bit.
