It's nice to know I'm not the only one racking up the miles on their brand new FR-S. Had mine since June 4th, I'm at a little over 12k, and I was on temporary duty for about a month and a half, without my baby.

I have passed the 20k mile mark already im about half way to 21k miles. I drive a lot because of my military job im all over the place and because i enjoy driving the car. Im always like, when people are supprised how many miles i have on my car, what do you not drive your car or im in the military so that should be explanation enough lol. I use the car for its intended purpose so im not worried about mileage running up im just enjoying the drive.

When I take a drive trip I get $0.55 per mile, so it's not that bad. I've had 10 of these trips this year and they are usually 600-800 round trip which means I get $350-400 to cover costs. With 10 trips at $350 I make $3500/year. (Estimates): 210 days of ownership, 23000 miles, 109 miles/day average, 32 mpg average = 3.4gal/day average. Average premium gas price...$3.90ish = $2784 spent on gas so far. With $3500 in payments yearly it means I get all my gas paid for + $700/year for maint.

Assuming I'll run out of warranty in April/May. I should use that extra $700 to extend my warranty to 60K

I'm military with 11k on it to be honest it's an under $30k car I'm not trying to preserve it once it gets up there in miles around 100k and there is a new cool model with all the bells and whistles this one is gonna be gone so I can have the new cool car.

Damn I thought I was one of the highest. I've had mine since 6/7 and just passed 13k this morning. That's with a 35 mile commute each way, but I'm on the prowl for a new job closer to home so my mileage increase should slow down considerably.
