Thanks for the heads up mate. I'm getting weekly updates from the dealer via my broker, stating my car hasn't even been built yet, so hopefully no surprise delivery and no issues refunding my deposit...

Im starting to think that the price might be more towards the early 30s. Around the price of the now discontinued Mitsubish Colt Ralliart which sold for 33k.

Recieved this same email today also.

Pretty much tells us what we already know from information given on this forum and press releases all over the net. There is a link on the page which takes you to a press release from back on the 27th of November. Today it is the 13th of December.... dumb.

Im also seriously considering investigating ways of not buying 1 from Toyota Aust if its at all possible

I wouldn't know where to even start but id say a trip to the government automotive section would be a good start

You would need to get it on SERVS(something...) and since they are already getting it into the Australian market that wont happen... as soon as it is listed as an Aust market car there goes all hope of getting it imports for use on the roads... you could get a personal import... which means you have to live in Japan for 12 months with the car and it has to be regular used and what not... or know someone that wants to import it for you as a personal import.

Yep already thought about it and seems ni impossible for joe blow to avoid it.

Possibility Coyote but not 100% i like the BRZ.
