Garage
48 married 2 kids. In sales, preengineered buildings, often used for mechanics shops. First real sports car.

Not sure why but I went and bought an xB past year. It's the least expensive car I have owned in many years and it just seemed like the smallest vehicle I could buy that will hold a full size pinball machine folded up (that's my previous passion). That is how I stumbled upon and eventually preordered the FR-S. So, in attempt to cut my auto expenses I more than doubled them!

A few of my previous new cars and more typical for me: Acura TSX, Accord EX-R V6.

I did read somewhere that the 86 is regarded as the "ultimate 30 year old's car"

Eish, there is a psychologist with one, we need him to look into why IT professionals are drawn to this car.....

Age varies from 26 to 76, so no common ground there...
Job profile - IT sector very common
Family - majority with small kids
Divorced - Clearly ex wife has not seen you in your car yet. Hahhahahaa. mine had a lot to say......

Got a funny feeling those that are still married won't be for long when the wife sees the new family car...

Heard a story from a colleague about a chap who went out to buy a Fortuner and came back with an 86... Wife was not pleased!

Oh, she's seen it. Was great seeing her face drop when she saw it.

I.T. - My guess is that we generally spend more time on the net than most. We tend to be precise and fact driven people so we tend to read-up and research more than other might. Hence why we know that this is 'THE' car to have. Anyone who bought a hot-hatch vs this was either very uninformed or they desperately needed rear-seats.

I agree, I can't think how many hours I spent researching this car online, can still remember the day in June when it was announced that it was coming to ZA. Couldn't contain my excitement!
Nice one with the ex...

34, two small kids, not in IT, buyer for branded clothing. wanted the 86 and the wife bought it for my birthday. i think i may have the best wife in the world. (this is hot on the heels of the Harley she bought me 2 years ago)
which makes buying her a present in Jan really really difficult. (she wants a C63)
btw, anyone know where i can pick up a decent C63 for a good price?
