Aw man I'm sorry to see that =[

I'm not sure if these cars are "cursed" more like people just don't pay attention or don't know how to drive anymore. Coming home from school, I was slowed down by traffic on the freeway twice because of an accident, both involving an Prius, maybe they are cursed too..

The FR-S and BRZ bumpers are identical. They are all one piece. The black "diffuser" is just the rest of the same piece of plastic as the rest of the "bumper", except the bumper part has been painted to match the body, and the diffuser is matte black. The BRZ bottom diffuser is an add-on piece that can be added to either of the cars, for a hefty fee of course.

I went to a body shop and they told me that that they would have to re paint half my car to fix a small scratch because its 3 stage paint. Sucks!!!
But because its just the bumper I think they could do it with out painting some of the car because the paint on plastic and paint on metal almost always look deferent.

If this old lady hit your car then the insurance should cover.
Why then would you ask about the price?

Probably because they make more money that way? It takes more labor hours to repair than to swap them out..

Personally, I'd want a new bumper.

That way there is no implied warranty from the insurance company. It's all up to the shop and the owner of the car to work it out. Like I said, when they can, insurance companies will try and convince the shops to make it right but they have no real ramifications as they're not the customer getting a sloppy repair job.
Yea I was thinking of that too. It just sucks if the first shop is in-capable of doing the job right. Maybe there is some way to get a refund.
