I wasn't too happy with them to be honest. They may actually have less hot bite than my old cheap Stoptech pads. The only good thing is they didn't fade as bad through a 20 min session.

Realistically, there is no such pad if you are past novice level track driving.

The pads are so easy to change on these cars; get separate pads for street and track.

I haven't had a chance to try mine yet, July 1st will be my first day out this year. At least I got mine cheap I guess...

Yeah I'm curious what you'll think of them. My expectations might have been too high for a street/track hybrid pad, but I was definitely surprised they wore like that after 4 days.

If they don't go well, Ill probably finally go BBK over winter if it doesn't go well. I don't want to lose my fog lights so cooling is tough.

TF duct kit doesn't use the fog lights and has better backing plates than the APR setup. Although I don't like the way ducts look in the grill.

Not sure how well it will fit with my intercooler and oil cooler.

The ducts are discrete, at least they appear to be in my car. You wont notice them unless youre intentionally looking for them. I went the way and added some copper mesh to keep residue out; even the mesh is hard to see through the grille. You'll forget about them

Hybrid pads are generally meant to be used for absolute noobs. You're not a noob anymore so get some pads designed and engineered for your specific application. We've been preaching this for years and we have many converts...mostly from just telling people to try it out.

If you haven't worked with proper track pads, don't discuss BBK. BBK works, but if you use them incorrectly, your braking distances are increases despite having less fade issues. This is actually a repeatable observable occurrence which seems to be overlooked.

Brake ducting is a popular subject and should not be overused. Some pads like heat and some don't.

I've used proper stuff before but not on this platform, previously on other vehicles. I have all sorts of limitations I am trying to work around on this car and there's no perfect solutions.

Solely dependent on your application and your setup. Boost + road course tells me these pads should not survive. Some people make it happen, but that also tells me that they are sandbagging their pace.

Sadly this car was never meant to be lapped after I got my Miata but now that I have realized I am too tall to pass the broomstick test even with a modded seat this is all I have

If I had more time I could have figured something out but I only have two weeks now and I just realized last week I am screwed.
