I was messing around with Torque yesterday morning.
0-60 I was able to get 6.7s with a little too much wheel spin out of the hole. Not bad. Motor Trend got 6.4s. Virtual Dyno Also, the graphing feature- I was trying to graph whp vs RPM and it only lets you graph one axis using the Line chart instead of the scatter chart. Otherwise the whp widgets seem pretty acurrate. I've been getting around 150whp at ~7K. Does anyone have a better way to run the virtual dyno?

I wish there was a better way to plot the HP and RPM on the graph besides using the scatter chart.

Ok time to find another pid. I'm pretty sure its sent via the ecu but not sure. I'm not sure if its going to be possible either to log it because the time that it is used....
Door locks... I figured if we identify the pid then ecutek should be able to add it to their tune. Doors could auto lock when you hit a certain speed. Talked to visconti a looong time ago but said it would not be possible. But if we had the pid I think it may change things. Any ideas or suggestions on how to capture? Log, toggle door lock, followed by another log to compare?? Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk 2 |

Anyone else buying an android device just for the Torque App? haha
I ordered a used Android II A955 for $45 off of eBay with a BAFX BT OBDII reader for $30(shipped). Total was $75 vs buying a sub $250 flux system with my Unichip just for some sweet ecu readouts.

This is incredible. Does the car come oem with a legitimate AFR reader? I have an AEM wide band in my civic, and if I never have to order one for my BRZ that would be fantastic.

First, let me apologize as I haven't had the opportunity to read this entire thread, but I'm a noob with this and in need of some help/pointers.
I just downloaded torque pro and purchased this reader [ame="http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005NLQAHS/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1"]BAFX Products (TM) - ELM 327 Bluetooth OBD2 scan tool - For check engine light and other diagnostics - Android compatible : Amazon.com : Automotive[/ame] the reader seems to work fine, but I have some questions. 1. can I leave the reader plugged in at all times? It won't drain my car battery? 2. also when it's plugged in it seems to protrude into the foot well. Is that ok? 3. I've read that you can program PID's? How do you do that exactly? I saw the warning stating that if I do it incorrectly I can mess up my car. Again, some help/guidance would be much apprecaited.
