Just an update guys, looks like there is a chance of snow tomorrow at the track! If not snow, then rain/sleet Ugh.

Small chance in the morning. NBD.

People don't realize how cold it gets up here. We were in the 20's last week.

Either way I'm going. I just don't want to scare away any potential newcomers.

You know, we get warned of snow about a dozen times per year and it rarely happens even once per year. But snow would we super cool and make for a great photo op.

I tend to think the weather websites grab their data from Lancaster or Palmdale, and their weather is oftentimes completely different then Rosamond, except maybe temperature.

Yeah, I plan on going too, and not trying to scare away any newcomers, but just want them to be aware so they can prepare accordingly (like not driving to the track on R compounds, haha).

Fair enough. I figured you were in anyhow. With your username, a little rain just makes it easier.

Anyhow, I would suggest that anyone attending bring some warm clothes. Layers, Gloves, Beanie, etc. It will be cold and with a little breeze blowing, the temps drop fast.

It's 48° right now with a 12mph wind making the temp 36° with wind chill.

Hah, I was at one time a very avid drifter (starting back in 1998), but my focus these days is road racing. I'd much rather it be dry out there, but if it's wet, so be it, I'll slap on the stock wheels and relive my glory days, haha.

I'm there with you on the driving suit, I was thinking of wearing mine too, along with long johns, haha
