Here is ZETAS silicone pricing taken directly from their thread. You guys are telling me the 80 more dollars your going to spend is going to be THAT MUCH BETTER OF QUALITY? They are going to be making a killing off of this when other companies are profiting just by selling it at that price. They are going to be charging 70 more dollars then ZETA and I believe 50 more then AVO. Both are respectable companies in this scene. Rediculous what people would pay just for a name on a product. I love Perrins products but this is ridiculous just for a silicone tube that is doubtful it will out perform the other 2 currently being sold. If anything it probably will do the SAME exact thing.

Do you guys honestly expect this to get more HP then the AVO/Zeta Silicone tubes that are already out? They dyno'd theirs and got 1 whp from it.

Dont expect it to do any better then theirs when its basically the same thing.

200? Zeta and AVO both sell one similar to this. Why should we purchase this when theirs is 50-70 dollars cheaper for basically the same thing. I love you guys as a company but please give us members a reason why we should purchase this and pay 50 more than AVO's and Zetas versions of this. You could spend just a little more and get an intake if its going to be @ 200.

LOL ya you go ahead and spend more for an item that other companies have released for cheaper. Other companies have them out on sale on these forums for 150. 50 dollars cheaper and they are from well known companies not some chinese knock offs. You really think spending more money for a quality intake hose is going to be a make or break difference? I can understand things like Turbos/SC but for an silicone hose that literally has very little R&D on it. You can save 50 bucks and get the SAME EXACT THING from AVO or ZEtA. OTherwise you can also spend a little more and get an intake if you prefer to spend your money on quality parts. Atleast they will do better then this for just a little more.

Not when a part like this costs little to nothing to make. You honestly think they are spending a lot to have these produced? Its a silicone tube FFS, This isnt an Exhaust or Header you are buying. They will be making HUGE profits off this item since its so marked up. If Zeta and AVO can make a profit selling it for 150 a tube then how much do you think Perrin will be making from this? Probably TONS more. 50 dollars more per tube is going to add up quick.

Do you even have a FR-S/BRZ? Your posts come off very childish and from another thread you posted "$1300 is nothing to me"
If that's the case another $50 shouldn't be a problem.

Lol you also asked if the Borla diffuser changed the sound in any way, really dude don't come in here pretending to know it all and ask questions like that.

Perrin puts extremely little effort in designing their products. They simply make items that they know you will pay exorbitant amounts of money for.

I was doing some suspension research for some 3D suspension analysis on Lotus SUsp. Analysis software and Perrin could not even tell me the roll center height of the WRX! Can you believe that?

Lol you also asked if the Borla diffuser changed the sound in any way, really dude don't come in here pretending to know it all and ask questions like that.

I asked because they posted another video stating it had the diffuser, They had horrible sound in the video so I was wondering why would they post a new video if the diffuser had nothing to do with the sound. It was a stupid question I admit but I dont care what you think. This is what the forums are here for, If you dont like people asking such questions or dumb questions you shouldnt be here. These forums are here for people who want to learn. I may not know much about the cosmetics because I dont do much cosmetically to the car. There are tons of stupid questions being asked on the forums you dont go and judge people by what they ask. Your saying I act childish when you are the one to go as far as to point out things people wouldnt really give 2 shits about, such as the things you pointed out. You seem like a person who craves attention and drama. I havent met any other member who goes as far to mention things like you have in other threads. Who honestly cares if I posted something similar in another thread.

Yes I do own the car why else would I even talk about purchasing products. Just look at you trying to start crap. When its obvious I have a BRZ if I am going to be purchasing parts for the car. I dont mind spending money if its a quality product if its something different from whats currently on the market. This is not new.. This is the SAME thing that other companies have released but charging more for it. I have no problem paying a little more if there isnt anything else on the market but this isnt new.

Pretending to know it all? You honestly think just because I bring up that another company has a similar product for cheaper I am acting like I know it all? Wow you are sure are stupid. I am telling other members that this shouldnt be priced at what it is when other companies are making a profit and you could get the same item for cheaper.'

Enjoy being on my ignore list. I dont need to talk to people like you who just try and start shit with other members. Honestly people come to these forums to learn things and your going to talk shit about people who want to learn. I may not know EVERYTHING like you assume I do which is why I ask questions. I do know some things and if I can give advice in anyway I will. But I have never acted like a "know it all" like you would suggest. You judge me because I asked a dumb question, because I posted similar things in other threads, then you come in here an say that I am a know it all when I was simply telling other people that AVO and ZETA offer similar tubes for much cheaper. Whats your problem? If people are going to ask a dumb question let them. People like you who talk down on people who dont know as much are people who really need to lighten up and get a life. No one has had a problem with what I have done except you. You obviously arent a bright person and obviously very dumb if you cant even tell if I do or dont have the car.

Whatever dude i answer tons of questions on here and help lots of members see the 503 Thanks from other members? I'm done arguing with you but there was no need for your post attacking Perrin's pricing here, the part has not even been officially released and MSRP has not been listed, $200 may be the final price but there has been no official parts release yet.

I am sure you do answer a lot of questions. I could careless because you come off as a rude person. What is wrong with people asking a dumb question. I am sure you had to start somewhere when you first started learning about cars. Like I said before enjoy my ignore list from now on. You seem like a person who posts bs to make himself feel better about shit putting people down. People like you will make it worse for newer people who get into the scene be afraid to ask questions. There is nothing wrong with asking questions even a dumb one. Its better to ask then to not mention it at all especially when you are working with cars. You bring up the stupidest shit that I doubt anyone else would care about like I mentioned in my last post.

Maybe this wouldnt of turned into an argument if you would light up for a change. There is nothing wrong with letting people know there are alternatives for a better price. I am sure if you were about to buy something that could of had for a fraction cheaper I bet you would be thankful also. Not everyone is loaded with cash especially in this economy. IMO your the one who comes off as a know it all, who honestly talks crap about someone who asks a bad question. People have to start somewhere to get anywhere.

Looks really good. I've been looking for a tube that deleted the sound tube without all the extra hardware.
If this is anything like my intake duct on my LGT, than it would be worth the money.

I posted this on the first page, i was unaware of the Perrin pricing at the time because this was provided to me for testing. I would like to do a comparison of all of them but i no longer have my noise generator tube so i couldn't do the AVO one.

Sorry if i came off as rude i just don't like when one of our best vendors here is treated like they are trying to rip people off. I do know a lot about cars but i research them all the time and it's been my hobby for 15 years and my career for 10. I don't want any problems with anybody here so i will apologize for coming off as rude, i just want to be a part of the community and continue to help people when i can with the knowledge i have gained. There are a ton of people here that know more than me i'll be the first to admit that.
