Fun install getting rid of that stupidly huge oem part. Much quieter in the cabin, which is nice because I can enjoy my Nameless exhaust note more. And just plain looks cleaner inside the engine bay. No noticeable difference in driveability, (after driving 40 miles), but hopefully that changes when I install my Perrin CAI this weekend! Thanks

I bought mine directly from Perrin this past Sunday and received word just moments ago that it's shipped.

I read somewhere that they come with a firewall plug? Is this true? looks clean and I like space in the engine bay.

I need butt dyno charts please; in the form of bars by % of enjoyment for stock and with inlet pipe respectively.

Yes, we do include the firewall plug with our inlet!

Is it really a plug, or a hose cap? When I read the install instructions I wondered why the sound changer part wouldn't be removed entirely along with everything else?

We provide you with a hose cap that gets installed over the plastic fitting to keep the air from entering the cabin.

Installed mine last night. Really happy with it. Cleans up the engine bay, quieter inside the cabin, a little louder outside, the silicon seems to have less heat soak than the std unit which was too hot to hold when i removed it and slight butt dyno improvements

Just got mine and installed over the weekend. I ordered from FT86-Speed Factory and got it within a week. I live at high elevation (5300') so getting air into the engine is a priority. With a Perrin drop-in filter, a TRD cat back, and now the Perrin intake hose, I can definitely feel a performance improvement. The car breathes much easier, accelerates smooth and easy, and throttle response is much better. This is a great addition. I wonder what a full intake setup would do? Probably not much more improvement. Much cleaner under the hood look too.

Do you have the US spec TRD cat back with the half circle tips? I'm wondering where you acquired it.

Re: TRD catback- Yes I do, I received the car in December and the dealer ordered the exhaust in for me. Only took a few days to ship it in (<1 week).

Installed mine a week or so ago along with the Perrin Drop-in (also have an SRT Headerback on the car). At first it really killed the power, but once the ECU had a chance to adjust it feels like the car revs a little freer than before with some more pull. Cutting out the sound tube was another big benefit. Now I get the exhaust note when I want an a little more quiet when I'm just cruising.

Has anyone had problems making warranty claims after dropping this in?
