To any of the guys who have this exhaust, do you think I'd be able to fit it in the fr-s trunk without folding down the seats if I discarded the box? Need to drive it across the border.

Should be able to, the muffler section is the biggest part and i think it will fit.

I have a pic of it i can text you if you want to pm me your phone number.

Just took some quick measurements looks like you won't have a problem.

If I don't like the sound of the Motiv Front pipe with HFC I may put it aside for when I buy an aftermarket catless header. If I make that decision I'll probably go with the test pipe, over pipe from Motiv.

Edit: umm I think I'm getting parts mixed up . Isn't it header -> over-pipe -> front-pipe -> catback (center-pipe aka mid-pipe, muffler(s), exhaust tips) ?

I think you'll be fine with the HFC, sometimes i wish i had gotten it actually so if you decide you want the test pipe let me know and we could trade out.

same reason if i get a header i will want a catted front pipe, figure i need to keep at least one.

i probably won't get a header but you never know if Motiv makes one it will be on my car.

Yeah exactly. If I go FI it might be AVO which comes with uncatted UEL manifold.

There's 3 companies right now that I would consider for the header if I don't go FI.

1) Supersprint , it's effing beautiful 2)If Motiv makes one 3) JDL , I'm not sure if you've seen JDLs thread but man you can see the quality of their prototype headers. They will be doing a 4-1 EL and 4-1 UEL . If I don't go FI I will go EL for the extra power for N/A

I don't plan to go FI, i'm pretty sure i'll stay all motor. i'll wait on the Motiv header but the JDL does look good as well. Let me know how you like the HFC and MXP combo.
