No, not that I saw the fitted parts though. Going great though and looking forward to a long drive over the weekend.

what ever you do dont go over 4000rpm for the 1st 1600km

I'm just wondering, what changes after 1600km? What would prevent the spring from popping out?

I hope not, I just can't understand how keeping the revs below 4000rpm could influence a gear and spring in any way.

I agree, rings for sure, but not springs. Unless they're treated with some sort of lubricant/grease that changes after time - it may be stiff to start off with.

I was one if the first people to test drive at my dealer ship, car had 100 km's on it and we gave it hell that day.

I asked the sale person, do I have to go easy on it, he said they are already pre-run in, so you can give it hell, same thing when my Dad test drove a Lexus IS-F has 60 km's on the odo, same question to dealer same response.
