Hookers...

...on the other hand maybe 17" x8" wheels/sticky tires ($2500), F/I ($6,500 if you're lucky), exhaust ($1000 if you're lucky).

Geeze $10K can go really fast!

If I could only get back to making some play $, that's what I want to do. Already have the 5:AD kit as well. I dont think their wheels look very light or ideal for balance/performance.

Definitely do it! Dont ever stop trying. 99% of all people that want to go professional end up quitting due to sponsors and the difficulties associated with getting them. DO NOT QUIT! If you need any help, pm me, and Ill help you out in any way i can.

aside from toyota and manufacturers contingency programs, which you absolutely must sign up for if youre racing at any level...

Getting sponsors is all about making a true business case for it. You need to show them how they can make profit from your car above and beyond the fans at the track looking at their logo. Agreeing to do "appearences with the car at charitable and corporate events" goes a long way for you and the company. Things like that are what will land you a good supportive sponsor and pleading a business case to improve the sponsoring companies image and profits. They are investing in you and you must show them the potential for great roi (return on investment)

WOW thanks soo much for the advice

i deff will take it to heart me and my family own a business so i know how important making your product sell is a key factor and making people feel good about your product is as important

friend of mine that i met recently drives a time attack 04 sti.
she also told me that networking and becoming friendly with sponsors is also key to getting them if you are a great people person youre more lilely to get sponsors rather than being snoody and saying yo im a good driver should sponsor me.
ive always been really easy going nice to talk to not feel like im a know it all big shot i love to learn and take advice and grow from it so i hope im heading in the right direction. also i dont know what GIVE UP means so i keep going till i achieve what i set out for and keep going

gotta go finish cooking for my fam ill PM you soon though :-D

my advice is to do classes for driving, then decide if you need to actually mod anything to make the car more smileworthy
