Current Status:
4/18/15 3/9/14 1/19/14 10/13/13 START. HI all, I've been lurking in these forums for a while...well mainly shopping really (lol) for the inevitable day my new car arrives. I bit the bullet on October 21 and my car arrived today November 16. I will be picking her up tomorrow. Before that a little introduction about myself. I've been driving since i was 16 and been in the drift game since i was 20. This was the pride and joy. Daily Drifter Status all year. I've gone to englishtown drift out wednesdays, east coast bashes, drift faction, and drift nirvana in summit pointraceway. heres a small vid [ame]http://youtu.be/ldYyO_ty1G4[/ame] Eventually this became more of a track car than a street car. Currently it's being overhauled for 2013 season. I decided to bite the bullet and get this new 86 for my new all around car I don't have pics of the car yet but heres a couple of things waiting to be installed: Day 1: - Toyota emblems - dc sport 1013 tips - TRD caps - trunk carpet It was an awesome day for 86 bonding time. Woke up early and got a good look over through the whole car. Didn't really drive it yet wasn't able to finish the under panels till next weekend. First and final pic of it having the scion badge lol Started the day with the rear stock tips are lame couldn't justify the price on the oe tips since im pretty sure whole exhaust is gonna get change eventually. trunk cardboard/carpet in TRD goodies my new awesome cusco cross wrench i specifically bought to be kept with this car Toyota emblems and the red 86 Last edited by GT86drifter; 05-14-2015 at 04:22 PM. |

When you installed the Toyota Emblems was it just an easy swap? What did you do with the FR-S emblem also?

I've been thinking of doing this myself but I don't want to mess it up, can you tell me if this process is correct...
1. Heat emblem/adhesive till you can pull off the badge 2. Clean area 3. Heat adhesive on new badge and put in place of old badge spot(and do the new badges already have the adhesive on it when you received them?) |
