Lol seriously, I just can't have enough fun with this car. Worst when I put new mods on it; makes me want to drive it more spiritedly lol.

That's a good point, I've noticed I get 27 mpg with Costco (91) gas too, and that's with mostly freeway and being kinda easy on the gas (sometimes)

I cruise 6th on the highway, but I've had to drop it straight to 3rd when I needed to really gun it. That surprised me. I thought 4th would be enough of a downshift, but it wasn't. Note - better to go gear by gear than just jam it in 3rd and potentially red line the engine!

I agree with whaap.
imho when i just driving daily like from home to work i like to keep rpm low and try to keep economical. I don't see the point to drive in motorway and not using higher gear, yes engine sound nice but keeping at 4th and not planning to overtake is just strange to me.
I prefer to save the petrol, however when i felt like spirited driving I don't mind using more petrol..

by the way for driving on higher speed such as in motorway and open your windows, you will use more petrol due to the air resistance. so if I want to get lower mpg then I can just drive on straight on motorway, keep on lower gear (4th or even below), open my windows. I will get lower mpg but I don't see the fun in that.

My daughter said "Daddy, how come you drive different in this car?"
Me said "Because this car is encouraging me to go fast."
