Was not a fan of the new car look when announced at the end of the season but as the
team cars get revealed (or the renderings) the look with familiar livery is getting acceptable..

Yeah I believe you are right. The Aston was leaked ahead of time and it looks like they took the same approach as Redbull for their car release.

Edit: Closer inspection it looks like it is close to their actual car and not a skinned FIA mockup.

Less than 10 days for testing!!! Can't wait. Still no word from Netflix as for the new DTS episodes.

They might not be able to release the episodes until they find out what happens with the FIA commission about the Abu Dhabi GP. Maybe they filmed something they shouldn't have lol

Nothing is going to happen. It’s done. The results won’t be overturned.

There may be some regulation or staffing changes for next year, but that’s it.

What's got you so butthurt?
Nobody said anything about changes to results.

It's funny.
There is one or two people like you on every forum/Facebook group I'm a part of that continuously going off about how "Nothing is going to happen. It’s done. The results won’t be overturned."

Are you also a vegan?

I’m not “butthurt”

Butthurt is a pretty low IQ response. Marginally better than “h8ErS gOnNa H8”

And vegan? Lol you clearly know nothing about me.

My response is because there are still people who seem to be holding onto the idea that there is going to be a change of the Abu Dhabi results or that there’s going to be some drastic changes to the FIA or F1 as a whole.

It’s pretty much already been stated that there will be regulation changes to clarify instances like this for the race director and their authority, and that they intend to keep the teams from being able to contact the director like they have been to sway the results of controversial calls. I’m simply restating what’s pretty obvious at this point. That’s all.

Michael Masi has been removed from his position as F1 race director.
And The FIA has confirmed teams will no longer be able to send messages directly to the race director,
--
That was eventually their only option as Masi became a hot potato with his dealings with the last race.
Im in agreement that the teams should not be petitioning the judges while a race is in progress.

.. One month to go for the first race of 2022.

I think we all saw that coming, and it does suck for Masi to lose his seat in such manner as it leaves a big stain on his career. I think the DTS series had a lot of influence in some decisions, and while it did add a level of excitement and drama, it took away the essence of the sport.
Unless any changes are discussed before the race, by all the teams, they should have no business talking to the director once the race takes off. But then that leaves the margin of human error while reviewing any incidents. Which I think they are going to mitigate with the incorporation of third party reviewers working at a remote location to help the race director with the decision taking.

I will miss Masi for the way he always calmly dealt with those Hyper twins nags from Merc & RB!
But the immediacy of their complaints placed some pressures on him and lead to questionable decisions on his part.

To have well defined rules before any competition should be a given.

My entire point is that you wrote an seemingly very angry comment about the FIA changing the race results when nobody even mentioned that being thing.
Thus the "Vegan" comment.
Because the joke is a vegan will tell you they are one when nobody asked.
The way you brought up race results when nobody is talking about it.

I used that word perfectly BTW.
Butthurt: "overly or unjustifiably offended, angered or resentful."

What people are holding on to it???
As I said above you're the only one still talking about it in here.
It's been over 2 months since anyone even mentioned race result changes in this thread.
Changes to the FIA and F1 from a single post by spcmafia linking to a BBC article 2-3 weeks ago. And even in there beyond Masi possibly getting kicked there isn't anything to drastic mentioned.

You can't even keep the talking points of your own arguments on track.
So who has the "low IQ"?

Back to the thread:

Glad they stopped the teams being able to directly talk to the race directors.
Wonder what the rules for restarts are gonna end up like.
