What you want to do to avoid that is always hold the wheel with both hands at 9 o'clock and 3 o'clock, and adjust the seat's position so you're sitting close enough to the wheel to be able to turn it through about 200 degrees (i.e. a good half-turn) without taking your hands off. Avoid holding it in a death grip; hold it lightly to get maximal feedback from the wheels. Look for track/autox videos where the camera is mounted between the seats and you can see the wheel and the driver's hands to see how it's done.

And on public roads always leave the nannies on. But you already figured that part out

It won't get knocked off if you do what I described above. I'm glad you didn't hit anything

I always left t/c on. I have not ended up sideways yet, but only cornered slightly fast twice so far, from a 35mph street to 45mph street. Then from 40mph street to 55mph street. Not planning to drift outside of race tacks. That's just plan stupid, and I don't know how to drift yet... >_<.

The rear tires chirpped a wee bit because I was passing the white road paint and loss some traction. the t/c kicked in immediately to compensate. I hardly noticed it.

Only time I've ended up sideways was in Minnesota driving on snow and ice. Even with Blizzacks, black ice is scary at 15mph. But thx to the Blizzacks, I didn't end up inside a snowbank or ditch.

Post your adventures!
in a neighborhood maybe 30, back roads maybe 125-130

I do clutch lock on a drift when I'm taking a corner at speed normally from 3rd to 2nd but when from a stop I just hammer down and quick shift into 2nd and powerslide... It worked in my 944 but Apperently not in this car... But then again I've only slid the car 3 times and have only owned it two weeks
Edit: also I used to focus mainly on low speed drifting since my hooning around used to be on public roads as I haven't yet been to a track day...
