I'm sorry but what you describe in post #1 suggests that you take residential (to me that means 25 mph) corners at up to 45 mph. That's 5 mph less than double the posted speed which equals reckless driving. How lucky you've been in keeping your near perfect driving record does not have a thing to do with how good a driver you are. It's just not worth the risk.

I've taken winding roads up in the mountains or in the middle of no where at 80. In city I just like to cruise and hear her purr. Only did the winding road once though and I'm good

Much better

Autox and car control clinics are good too, as are all of the above in the wet; you actually learn more on rainy days

This is a terrible thread idea. Cars play on tracks. Period.

Find an autocross event near you. Go out and learn the car and more importantly your limits. Driving like this on any public road is asking for trouble.

I take all my fast turns around the school zones at 7:35 AM and 2:40 PM with traction off.

jk I do my spirited driving on the on and off rams of freeways mainly. but I'm mostly often the car that gets cut off by other cars. funny story, I've actually been cut off by a big rig on the freeway for going too slow lol. He nearly ran off my car if I didn't swerve out of his trailers way.

I don't drive recklessly and I don't drive like an asshat. It's not like I drive 40 in a 25MPH zone. I drive 25mph. I take the corner at the speed limit where I can see clearly in all directions and no houses or objects are in the vicinity. And I do not do it on every corner. I don it once in a great great while. Even if I wipe out, which will never happen, there's nothing to hit even if I wanted to, no bush, no houses, no cars, no pets, no humans. Lighten up peeps.
Lol it's confidence like this that GETS people into accidents. It doesn't matter whether you have a clean record or not, even the thought of wanting to drift in a residential community is the definition of being reckless. But hey, I'm sure when one day you do hit someone/something that they will give you a pass because of your spotless driving history.

The frs already slides with trac on, but does get cut off. When trac is off, nothing's stopping the car from sliding like melting ice on a smooth surface.

I leave it on while in the city. In the back roads its a different story. If you know what you're doing, you wont lose control of the car whenever it slides, trac on or off.
